He announced changes to the CJRS as follows:- From 1st July an employee can come back to work part time as part of a flexible furlough scheme. In the example he gave relating to a five day a week worker, if a worker came back to work for 2 days they could still remain on furlough for the other three. In June and July there would be no contribution required of employers. In August employers will pay the national insurance element and pension contributions. In September CJRS will pay 70% and employers will pay 10%, so employees still receive 80%. In October CJRS will pay 60% and employers will pay 20%, so employees still receive 80%.
